Meet Andrea
**Available to start seeing clients on January 20th**
Hello! I’m Andrea Di Lizia, and I am a master’s Professional Counseling intern at Empowering Hope. I currently attend Adams State University online program for Clinical Mental Health. I am committed to supporting individuals as they navigate healing, growth, and self-discovery. My approach to counseling is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, and I believe meaningful change happens in a space where people feel safe, respected, and truly seen. I strive to create a supportive and thoughtful space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I approach my work with curiosity, openness, and respect for each person’s unique background and experiences. My goal is to meet you where you are and adapt our work together in a way that feels responsive, grounded, and aligned with your needs.
I view counseling as a process that honors the whole person–mind, body, and lived experience. Together, we will explore how past experiences connect to present challenges, while also identifying insights and tools that support growth moving forward. I believe healing is not linear, and I strive to meet my clients with compassion while offering structure, reflection, and encouragement when helpful. As I continue my education, I am exploring my areas of clinical interest and focus. I currently utilize CBT and person-centered approaches and look forward to refining my skills through ongoing education and the support of my supervisor.
I work with individuals (18+) experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, self-esteem and body image concerns, perfectionism, life transitions, and identity exploration. I aim to support clients in developing emotional awareness, self-compassion, and resilience as they move toward greater clarity and balance in their lives.
I am currently practicing under the supervision of Rachel Berglund LMFT.
