Meet Andrea
Hello! I'm Andrea Di Lizia, a master's Professional Counseling intern at Empowering Hope. I am currently completing my Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree through Adams State University. I'm passionate about helping others better understand themselves, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful change in a way that feels authentic to them.
I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to show up exactly as you are. My approach is warm, collaborative, and approachable, with a dash of humor. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, or simply trying to make sense of where you are in life, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment.
I see counseling as a chance to look at the whole picture. Together, we'll explore how your past experiences have shaped where you are today, while also building practical tools to help you move forward. Healing isn't a straight line, and I don't expect it to be. I'll meet you where you are, offer support and honest reflection, and help you find an approach that feels right for you.
I currently work from person-centered and cognitive behavioral (CBT) approaches, tailoring therapy to each client's individual needs. As I continue my education and training under the supervision of my clinical supervisor, I look forward to expanding my skills and integrating new approaches into my work.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, self-esteem and body image concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, and career-related concerns. Whether you're adjusting to a new chapter, questioning what's next, or feeling disconnected from yourself, I'd love to help you find greater clarity, confidence, and balance.
I am currently practicing under the supervision of Rachel Berglund, LMFT
