Why should I try therapy?
What is the big deal about individual, couples, or family therapy?
Many of us struggle with the idea of asking for help, especially when we are facing emotional challenges or feeling overwhelmed. Maybe you've been told to "buck up," to "not be so emotional," or perhaps you simply haven't had a safe space where you can share your mental health experiences could be expressed without judgment.
Therapy can give you that space.
Seeking support is more common than many people realize. Millions of individuals have worked with a therapist at some point in their lives, often during periods of stress, change, loss, uncertainty, or personal growth.
Reaching out for support doesn't mean something is wrong with you it means you're investing in your well-being and creating space to better understand yourself.
Our team believes that each person already possesses strengths, resilience, and the capacity for growth. Mental health counseling is not about telling you how to live your life or who you should become. It is an opportunity to explore your experiences, better understand yourself, and identify meaningful ways to move toward the life you want to create.
And who doesn’t want that?
Reach out to one of our caring, compassionate counselors today and get started reaching for your potential.

Our Story
Empowering Hope was created out of a passion for quality, compassionate mental health care by our founder, Rachel Berglund. After years in the field Rachel noticed a gap in care for individuals, couples, and families seeking support outside of community mental health and agencies that supports people where they are at. Both financially and mentally. She wanted to create a space for people to feel seen and heard by experts who do not treat them as a burden, or just a number on their caseload. Because they can!
That was when Empowering Hope was born.
Since its creation in 2020 we have been providing expert care to individuals, couples, and families in Fort Collins for counseling and virtual counseling throughout Colorado.
Whether this is your first time reaching out for therapy, or you're just looking for a new therapist who gets it, you are in the right place.
We can help.
