Meet Jenny

Hello! It's wonderful that you've taken this step towards working on your mental health. My name is Jenny. I am a master’s level Individual Therapy Intern at Empowering Hope. It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help, and I commend you for it. Starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions, which are all completely valid. I want to assure you that this is a safe and confidential space where you can freely express yourself without judgment.

My role is to listen, understand, and support you on your journey towards healing and growth. I have witnessed how therapy can help individuals make positive changes in their life. Witnessing this has deepened my empathy and understanding, and it fuels my passion for helping others. In our sessions together we'll work at your pace, focusing on what you feel ready to explore. Whether you're seeking to process past experiences, develop coping strategies, or simply gain a deeper understanding of yourself. I'm here to support and guide you. 

I believe we all could use some self care to help us deal with obstacles life throws at us. Together we will discover what self care looks like for you. For me self care looks like gaming(yep I'm a gaming nerd!), getting my nails done every couple weeks, watching movies/TV, and music that all help boost my mood. Therapy can be a profound experience, offering lasting benefits for your well-being. I'm truly honored to be a part of your journey and can't wait to meet you!

My areas of interest are; anxiety, depression, stress of any kind, or just any difficulties in life that you feel like you need help dealing with. I tend to practice from a person centered, CBT, and processed based lens. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, or would like to schedule a consultation.
