Meet Brooke

Hello! My name is Brooke. The process of finding a therapist isn’t always easy, and yet here you are – exploring your options for support. Taking that first step toward support is a courageous and meaningful move! I’m glad you’re here.

A little about me: I have a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling & Sport Psychology from Boston University and a background in Psychology and Critical Sport Studies from CU Boulder. Since 2022, I’ve worked with individuals from all walks of life, as both a therapist and a mental performance consultant for athletes and performers. I work with teens (15+) and adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma recovery, grief, and mild substance use. If you’re an athlete or performer, we can also dive into mental skills, performance anxiety, burnout, injury recovery, or the messy in-betweens of retirement and identity.  Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not quite yourself—you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and rooted in trust. I blend several evidence-based approaches to support each client’s unique goals. This includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you connect with your values and take empowered action, parts-work to gently explore the differing internal perspectives informing how you show up in life, and body-based (somatic) practices to support nervous system regulation and deeper self-awareness. At the heart of all my work is a trauma-informed, relational lens. That means I care about your story and the systems around you—how your lived experiences, identities, and relationships shape the way you move through the world. I want you to feel seen, not pathologized. My goal is to co-create a space where you feel safe enough to be real and supported enough to do the hard and beautiful work of healing.

I believe healing happens in connection. Together, we’ll slow things down and get curious—not just about the hard stuff, but also about your values, strengths, and what a meaningful life looks like for you. Whether we’re working toward relief, clarity, confidence, or simply a deeper connection to yourself, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

I am working under the direct supervision of Rachel Berglund, LMFT.
